Our Story
A homemaker's kitchen, now on your doorstep
I'm Seema — a homemaker from south Bihar, carrying forward the traditional flavours of my homeland. Every sweet and snack here is handmade with love, using age-old recipes that have travelled through generations of women in my family before me. No preservatives, no shortcuts — just pure ingredients and the same authentic taste you'd find in a Magahi household.
This business began with a simple thought: people who live away from home miss more than just food. They miss the smell of a kitchen, the sound of a rolling pin, the feeling of being fussed over. I wanted every bite from Sharmaji's Magahi Mithas to bring that feeling back — to bring you closer to home, to memory, and to the warmth of your roots, no matter how many miles away you are.

From The Gauri To Your Ghar
Traditional method, thoughtfully adapted
Traditionally, our Sattu Litti is baked on a gauri — a wood-fired clay oven — which gives it a distinct, rustic, smoky flavour. But a gauri-baked litti simply doesn't travel well; its shelf life is short, and it was never meant to leave the village.
So over time, the deep-fried version became our answer for anyone craving it away from home — a format that keeps the same sattu filling and the same spicing, just made to survive a journey and stay fresh as a convenient evening or travel snack. It's tradition, adjusted with care rather than compromised.

"Every dabba that leaves my kitchen goes out the way I'd send it with my own family — with care, and with a little bit of home tucked inside."
